Envision Hotel, Boston

Eeeee!! So as you guys know, I was in Boston last week. The trip was super fun, but one of my favourite parts was our hotel. The whole weekend was so go-go-go that I couldn't wait to get back to our hotel and rellaaaaxxxxxx! I'm so awful at the never stop lifestyle. It probably looks like I actually do live like that normally, but I don't. I take a lot of downtime. Whether it's a mid-day nap, to night time tea while catching up with emails. I actually prefer to be

really

chilled out. Sometimes when travelling, you get so caught up in plans, and seeing absolutely everything you can see in a day, mixed with concerts, shopping & transportation, I just feel exhausted. I literally could not WAIT to get back and have a nap back in our room, relax, play some music and get ready to hit the town. Slowly. Hahah I hate rushing!

Envision Hote

l is a newer hotel based in the Longwood area of Boston. It's in the cutest brownstone neighbourhood and very close to our newest favourite pizza place!! (Just one block down). It's a quick Uber to downtown and even quicker to Fenway. I got to see my first ball game ever on this trip!! I don't really care about baseball, but the game was so fun! For some reason I also had a bunch of Red Sox clothing so I looked the part. Lol.

On Sunday morning we had some downtime before we went to the shows and wandered around the area of the hotel. We found some fantastic places to eat. The first one, we had lunch at. It's called Clover. We didn't know when we wandered in, but it's vegetarian (I like meat so it didn't matter to me) but it was really good, close and filling.

The next day we had our morning coffee next door at Clover, at Nero coffee. I love that little part of the block, it's so picturesque. And- The lattes are gooooooood. It was nice to get out in the morning and go for a walk.

On our walk, Justin and I wandered into Harvard's Medicine campus. It was actually graduation day, so we got to see all the excited grads outside taking pictures with their families. We walked away later and said to each other that we just saw a lot of people that are about to be really well off. Haha. I love that

Envision

was in walking distance of lots of cool things to see that are a little more community orientated and local, unlike you would typically see downtown. It felt like a more personal and less touristy experience.

Across the street from

Envision

is the cutest little park on a lake. I kept eyeing it out our window and finally we were like,

okay let's explore.

The light in the park was so pretty and all of the green really made it finally feel more like summer. It was so calm there and nice to get away from the hustle of the city. (I think I need a spa trip next? LOL) This whole time I was just dying to relax. Hahah

The staff at

Envision

were so nice and accommodating, they were there for everything we needed all weekend and were super fun to joke around with in the lobby while awaiting our Uber. They had a cute little in house cafe with snacks and coffee and I will definitely stay in this little boutique hotel again and 100% recommend for all you East Coasters travelling to Boston! xx
