If you've ever been to Quebec City, you've seen the giant, beautiful, wonderful, amazing, picturesque, fairytale-like castle that is the Fairmont Chateau Frontenac. Before we went on our trip, everyone that we told where we were staying, gasped with surprise and jealousy. This hotel is stunning. It's more than stunning.
It's like a castle.
From our valet parking to our special treats left in our room upon arriving, the staff was so so so so accommodating and nice. I'm a sucker for a french accent and really love listening to the french language. I got to practice my own too. Haha. The Fairmont is in a central location in Old Port Quebec. Basically it's the center of this little district. It has a beautiful boardwalk just outside and follows all along the waterside of le Fleuve Saint Laurent. It's within walking distance of everything you're there to see, except for Sephora, we had to take a quick drive there. We bought a painting of the Frontenac from a local artist in a little alley way near by, I cannot wait to hang it.
Our room was stunning, it had lots of windows, and window light is the dream for me. Our room had a white marble bathroom and toiletries that were customized with my name on them.
Can I please just live here?
It was like they knew all of my favourite things that I look for in a space. The view outside of these big gorgeous windows was even more beautiful. The Old Port rooftops were something people write poetry about. We watched the sunset from our room before dinner and it may have been one of my favourite, most romantic parts of the trip. This kind of view is a pretty rare one.
We enjoyed the two of the hotel's restaurant,
, bar,
, and pool. I was dying to fit in the spa, but we didn't quite have enough time. We had drinks at the bar on Saturday night and enjoyed a Mother's Day brunch on Sunday morning. There, Justin and I were, having brunch with some of the best mothers in Quebec. Hahah
We only spent two nights in QC and it was not enough. I highly recommend this gorgeous hotel if you're coming to visit this special city. I cannot wait to book my next trip back to this magical little place and I can't wait to see my Fairmont family when I do <3.
