My sunless tanning routine

Hey guys!! This may be my most frequently asked question of all time, maybe tied with hair extensions (and that ones coming soon too!) Lol. I have been using this tanning foam for years and I absolutely love it. It makes you SO dark, immediately, and then develops even darker over the following few hours. The price is what seriously knocks it out of the park. It is the most affordable that I’ve ever found and no other ones even compare to it’s price.

Exfoliate & Moisturize
For an even, non blotchy tan, it’s important to exfoliate your entire body. I find to especially exfoliate around your neck, armpits, elbows , knees and ankles. I exfoliate with a sugar scrub and a face cloth and wait until the end of my shower. Then after my shower, I make sure to moisturize my entire body with a light layer of moisturizer. I use extra in the areas above that I mentioned because I find those to be the areas with dryer skin. I wait around 30 minutes for the moisturizer to soak in and then I apply my tanner.

Application
I go back and forth with using the medium colour and the dark colour. The medium I use mainly in the winter, but honestly it’s still pretty dark and could definitely get away with it in the summer too. I use this black mitt (linked below) and I find it’s easier to use after you break it in a little bit after a few uses. Lol. I like to use a makeup brush to apply it to my feet, ankles, hands & neck, and your face if you plan on applying to your face. I find the makeup brush helps a lot for blending and getting into the creases so it goes on more naturally. I go back and forth with putting it on my face. More often in the summer or on trips, I apply it to my face when I don’t want to be wearing any makeup, it helps with a nice glow and also with your face matching your body. Lol. A lot of the times I don’t apply it to my face, and just use my foundation to match it. When I DO apply it to my face, mixing it with your moisturizer will help a lot with making it look natural, and only use a little!

If you’ve never applied self tanner before, you just pump out a pump or two onto your mitt and apply it to your body. I like to start on my legs and work my way up. Watch for streaking is you go. If you do have a streak, I find adding a bit more product to that area and blending it in, helps! I always get Justin to apply it to my back, but it issss possible to bend yourself enough to get it. Lol. It’s just easier if you have help. This tanner does dry quicker than other self tanners, so keep that in mind when applying. I can apply mine in less than 5 minutes so it doesn’t bother me that it dries quickly. I actually LOVE that it dries quickly because I can immediately apply my clothing. Lol. With the St. Moriz tanner, it goes on really dark, and gets darker over the next few hours. If you find it too dark, or if you see any streaks, at the end of the day, or the next morning just rinse your body in the shower and it just rinses off the guide colour! When the guide colour is on, it’s when it’s the darkest tan you have, so I like to try and wear that for the day. But after you shower it will be a nice even tone. With each shower it will start to fade, but if you keep moisturizing it should extend your tan. I’ve never had it stain my clothing, it just comes out in the wash! If I can, I like to wear loose dark clothing until it’s completely dry, but a lot of the time I just get dressed as usual. Sometimes the whole tan isn’t absolutely perfect, but to me I’d rather be tanned and imperfect, than totally white. LOL. But that’s just me.
