I recently got a tattoo on my arm that I've had in my mind for a while. It says, "now." It means a couple things. It's the urgency that I have to get things done, and to actually DO the things that I sometimes only
talk about doing. The other meaning is one I didn't know it would have, until it was embedded into my skin. It really makes me slow down as much as speed up. As I'm speed walking to work because I'm running late, I see it. I see it and I
slow down. It's now. I'm here, now. Walking through the city on a gorgeous day or stuck in traffic and hungry. I'm reminded to take it all in. Now is just as important as getting all the other shit done too. Time is hitting me a lot harder than it did before and reminding me to take a breather once and a while and stop and smell the flowers.
These gorgeous time pieces are by Christian Paul watches. Christian Paul is an Australian designer and I am still going crazy over how beautiful these watches are. Mine is the Whitehaven Metal Mesh, 43mm White Marble. It is so perfect for the summer, I can't imagine a more perfect watch. My palette this summer is a lot of whites and nudes and it fits in flawlessly. Callum's is the Strand Marble 43mm. His is black marble with a black strap. It's so cool. I won't even lie, I wear it all the time. The black on black is something I really like. The subtle marble design in both watches is something you don't catch right away but when you look in more detail it's a nice little surprise. If you know me, I love everything marble, so clearly these are a winner for me.
