You can really start to feel the seasons changing this past week!! September has always been one of my favourite months of the year. There's something about it that kicks my butt back into gear. On my Timehop the other day it had a tweet that I tweeted like 4 years ago, comparing summer to a water bed, fun at first, but not something you want forever. That's exactly the way I felt about my 2017 summer routine. Or lack there of. I'm happy to slowly ween off of the summer schedule and regain stability.
I wanted to share this little transitional look today. I think I will be wearing slip dresses into the dead of winter. -Probably just pairing with a parka. I just can't let go of them!! I have another one I'll be sharing with you later on this week too, and another different way to wear it for fall. But yeah, I've been living andddd sleeping in these all summer. They are so easy to throw on and dress up or down depending on bag and shoes.
This dress is really cute. It's a little bit on the longer side, so good for daytime. The fabric is a little bit heavier and sort of a silky finish. It has a deep v neckline with scalloped edges on both the front and back.
I paired the dress with gold and brown accents and accessories. I felt like it kept the whole look soft, girly and a little bit fall toned. These boots are an older style by Donald J Pliner. I loveeeee themmmm. I don't wear a lot of brown so they don't get picked off my shelf very often. But how cuteeee!!!
