OMG I cannot believe this was my first time to MEXICO! What a truly incredible place. So I'm going to start this off with a little story. I think about the universe and what you put out there, you get back, the law of attraction and many more things like that, ALL the time. One of my favourite types of talks are all of these things. So you wanna talk Universe, hit me up. If you are an avid Instagram story watcher, you may have seen me go on about how I want to go on a relaxing vacation, randomly a few weeks ago. I literally just felt in a bit of a rut, Justin and I's schedules were off and we were barely seeing each other, and all of my work can be done remote. I just had an itch to get out of town and lay by a beach. So basically I told YOU GUYS this over the internet, and get a phone call 24h later saying "Hey! Heard you wanted a vacation, this film summit in Mexico just came up with one more space, you need to go." Well hey, ok yes flights are booked. LOL. I went a few days early to really soak up the relaxation end of the trip before the film summit. The ULTIMATE relaxation resort is CALA DE MAR! Holayyyyy. This is the most beautiful resort I have ever seen in my entire life, let alone STAYED AT. Wow.
I partnered with Cala De Mer to show you guys this hidden wonder of Mexico on the Pacific Coast. I stayed in the Penthouse Suite and it was so magical. The staff treated me like gold, surprising me daily with little treats and drinks at my door. So accommodating to arranging an area to paint and relax by the pool, and went above and beyond in every aspect of my stay. All I can say is WOW.
The view from every angle of this resort is incredible. I talked the staff's ears off about how jealous I am of their workplace and views. I just couldn't imagine that be where I was working every single day. It's crazy.
I had the best massage of my life at Cala De Mar and the spa was so so gorgeous. I relaxed in the spa before and after my appointments, and really could have spent all day right there. Lol.
The food was amazing. There are 3 different restaurants on the resort, with the availbility for full room service at any hour, night or day. This was amazing. While I did venture to the restaurants, I totally ordered to my room a zillion times for snacks, drinks, dessert and coffeeeeeeee.
